Kyle Kuzma, a 2020 NBA Champion with the Los Angeles Lakers and current Washington Wizards forward, told Genesee County Sheriff Chris Swanson that he hopes to bring some of the programs that have had success in Genesee County back to Washington, D.C.

Kuzma and Winnie Harlow toured the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office IGNITE and GHOST programs Thursday morning, June 30, 2022 during a quick visit to the NBA player’s hometown.

“Being in this building and understanding not just the side of what evils are going on, but like what these people are doing to fight it,” Kuzma said. “This is a lifestyle. This is not like 9 to 5 and clocking out -- this is what they do and their passion.”
