In a unanimous ruling, the Supreme Court has ordered the Trump administration to "facilitate" the return of Kilmar Abrego Garcia to the United States, after the Maryland resident was denied due process rights and deported to the notorious CECOT prison in El Salvador. But the court remains vague on how exactly this would happen, and the Trump administration has claimed it has no way of ensuring his safe return. Elsewhere, a federal immigration judge in Louisiana is set to rule today on whether the Trump administration has grounds to deport Mahmoud Khalil, a permanent resident of the United States who was involved in a campus protest at Columbia University. Ahead of today's ruling, Secretary of State Marco Rubio filed a short memo that concedes Khalil has no criminal history, and argues he should be deported as part of U.S. efforts to combat antisemitism. We speak to attorney Ramzi Kassem, who is part of Khalil's legal team, about the cases of Abrego Garcia and Khalil. Kassem says the Supreme Court decision on Abrego Garcia's case is "a step in the right direction and will hopefully lead to his return home."

National security analyst Hal Kempfer joins LiveNOW's Andrew Craft to discuss national security questions surrounding the Trump administration's war plans leak on the Signal messenger app.
Jeffrey Goldberg, editor-in-chief of The Atlantic, was allegedly included in a group chat with top national security officials that discussed war plans for upcoming military strikes in Yemen.
Goldberg published an article about this purported mishap on Monday.
After landing in Hawaii on Monday, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth responded to the allegations, saying:
"You’re talking about a deceitful and highly discredited so-called journalist who’s made a profession of peddling hoaxes," Hegseth said about Goldberg." This is a guy who peddles in garbage."
Earlier Monday, the White House said the text thread appeared to be "authentic."
The text chain allegedly contained sensitive information about "operation details of forthcoming strikes on Iran-backed Houthi-rebels in Yemen."
This includes information about "targets, weapons the U.S. would be deploying, and attack sequencing," Goldberg reported.
It was not immediately clear if the specifics of the military operation were classified, but they often are and at the least are kept secure to protect service members and operational security.
The U.S. has conducted airstrikes against the Houthis since the militant group began targeting commercial and military vessels in the Red Sea in November 2023.
Just two hours after Goldberg received the details of the attack on March 15, the U.S. began launching a series of airstrikes against Houthi targets in Yemen.

One day after the revelation that sensitive U.S. military attack plans were discussed and inadvertently leaked to a journalist via a Signal app group chat comprised of the nation’s top defense and intelligence officials, the U.S. Senate Intelligence Committee will hold a hearing on global threats. The text chain, in which Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth disclosed top secret plans, also included Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard and CIA Director John Ratcliffe, who are expected to testify in this hearing. They will be joined by FBI Director Kash Patel, NSA Director Timothy Haugh and Defense Intelligence Agency Director Jeffrey Kruse.
