The ‘honeymoon phase’ may get Kamala Harris ‘across the finish line’

Sky News contributor Kristin Tate says there is a very real chance Kamala Harris’ “honeymoon phase” will last long enough to get her across the finish line.

New polling shows US Vice President Kamala Harris has pulled ahead in critical swing states just weeks after her ascent to the top of the Democrat ticket.

“Because the Democrats have pulled off this coup by forcing Joe Biden out and forcing in Kamala at the last minute, they may just pull it off where they get to that election day before the hype has died down,” Ms Tate told Sky News host Chris Kenny.

“It's yet to be seen, I'm not sure, but it's possible.”
